InBenefits is a non-profit organization that has been providing essential services to clients for nearly 30 years. From a two-person office in Toronto, we now have over 40 full and part time staff operating in a modern facility in Markham, Ontario. As third-party administrators, we are servicing over 100,000 current, retired and former pension plan members across Canada. Clients and plan members benefit from the knowledge and experience of a long-tenured staff that have been with the organization for an average of over 10 years.
Under the leadership of our Board of Directors, we are happy to share that InBenefits was awarded the Champion Level accreditation from the Ontario Living Wage Network reflecting our commitment to staff and our leading compensation package offering. A living wage employer pays all direct and indirect employees the living wage rate for the region(s) in which they operate. Please note, while InBenefits is located in Markham, it was assessed based on Toronto compensation levels which are typically higher.
In addition, InBenefits was certified for a third year in a row as a Great Place to Work© (with last year receiving a National Award for being in the top 30 Employers with GPTW). Great Place to Work© Certification is an accreditation which demonstrates that your organization is an employer of choice based on a survey of management and staff.
Over the years, InBenefits has kept pace with the dynamic requirements of its clients and plan members. In 2019, the organization invested in a customized pension administration system to enhance service to plan members and to respond to their requests more promptly. In 2021, the e-Site employer portal was launched. The e-Site portal is a secure, interactive online communication tool which facilitates the exchange of information between InBenefits and contributing employers.
